With this blog and the itineraries within it, my aim is to educate and inspire people on these remarkable ecosystems and inhabitants. These safaris are about observing the natural world and entering into a symbiotic relationship with it, understanding its rhythms, and respecting its inhabitants.

Mark A Fernley and Jaren H Arellano established Untamed Photo Safaris with two primary objectives: to immerse others in their fervor for wildlife and to champion wildlife conservation through the lens of photography.
Their wildlife photography tours not only allow them to share their profound appreciation for nature but also give guests a glimpse of its wonders. As dedicated naturalists, nothing thrills them more than witnessing the sheer joy on their clients' faces when they snap that elusive, dream shot.
Moreover, they provide an opportunity for guests to contribute to the Prints 4 Africa initiative, a remarkable project where 100% of the profits are channeled directly into conservation efforts.

Kim is our go-to specialist for tailor-made experiences. With a decade immersed in the safari world, she has trained as a safari guide in both South Africa and Kenya, and managed lodges in Kruger National Park, Nairobi National Park, Amboseli, and the Maasai Mara in Kenya.

The Travelling Wakili
The Travelling Wakili is a custom-tailored travel company dedicated to offering safe and inclusive adventures for women and queer individuals across Africa.
Their foundation rests on the pillars of sustainability, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
‘Wakili’ in Swahili means “lawyer”. The founder, Njeri is a sharp-witted lawyer with a strong inclination towards social justice, she seamlessly fused her dedication to advocating for women’s and sexual minorities’ rights with her love for travel.
This harmonious blend gave birth to a pioneering travel initiative tailored specifically for women and the queer community.
