Main Naibor boasts seven luxury tents strategically nestled among the trees to ensure privacy and an immersive woodland experience. These tents are individual sanctuaries, each adorned with a shaded verandah, dual washbasins, and an en-suite bathroom with a safari shower and a flush toilet. Positioned on a bend of the Talek river, Main Naibor offers breathtaking vistas across the Mara plains. This unique vantage point provides hours of tranquil observation of the local hippo pod revelling in the adjacent waters. These tents also come with solar-powered lighting for cosy evenings, an attentive team of staff, and a dedicated game drive vehicle exclusively for Little Naibor guests. Additionally, the suite rooms are interconnected by a shared lounge and dining space, and there's a private riverside overlook complemented by a fire circle and seating arrangements, perfect for private dining and relaxation.

LITTLE NAIBOR

Nestled close to Naibor Camps is Little Naibor, offering two luxurious, expansive tents. With their unique design, these tents feature two-bedroom suites ideal for families or couples vacationing together.

Every suite boasts a double room and a twin-bedded room, each with its own en-suite bathroom. These rooms are connected by a shared lounge and verandah space, attended by a dedicated team to ensure an impeccable experience. These exquisite suites further enchant with private fireplaces and dining spots strategically positioned to provide breathtaking views of the Talek River, ensuring utmost privacy.

From exhilarating game drives and serene sundowners to delectable gourmet dining and cosy evenings by the fire, Naibor Camps presents many remarkable experiences.

GAME DRIVES

At Naibor Camps, our primary mission is to venture out daily, allowing guests to witness and capture the magnificent plethora of wildlife around. Our vehicles, the robust 4-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers, are open-sided with canvas tops and built-in refrigerators, ensuring guests have access to refreshingly cold drinks at any moment. These vehicles are tailored for optimal wildlife observation, photography, and navigating the occasionally challenging terrains of the Mara ecosystem.

We recommend setting out for game drives during the early mornings and late afternoons. These more excellent hours typically see heightened wildlife activity. However, for those interested, we also offer full-day game drives with a picnic lunch – a favoured choice during the migration season. Rest assured, the Naibor Camps guides are seasoned experts, all having achieved at least the KPSGA Bronze level in guiding accreditation.

BUSH MEALS AND SUNDOWNERS

Bush meals and sundowners are favourites among our guests, often complementing an additional game drive experience.

Our bush meals, reminiscent of the classic "Out of Africa" vibe, can be organised in a secluded and private setting for any group size. Whether it's a bush breakfast or a packed lunch, we've got you covered. As the day winds down, many of our guests revel in our sundowner cocktails, taking in the breathtaking surroundings with a drink and snacks while witnessing the sun's descent.

For those seeking a more intimate experience, Naibor Camps can set up private meals right outside your tent. Dining under the canopy of stars makes for a romantic setting, perfect for couples and honeymooners.

HOT AIR BALLOONING

Experience breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Masai Mara National Reserve. For guests eager to capture a bird's-eye perspective of the Masai Mara National Reserve, we offer the exhilarating option of hot air ballooning. This adventure starts early, with participants heading to the launch site by 6 am. The ensuing 1.5-hour flight gracefully floats over the vibrant grasslands, alive with diverse wildlife in the early light of dawn. Upon landing, the experience is crowned with a champagne breakfast, followed by a scenic game drive back to Naibor Camps.

CULTURAL VILLAGE

We can organise cultural visits to the neighbouring Masai communities to deepen your understanding of the Masai Mara.

We offer the opportunity to engage with the local Masai communities outside the reserve. During these visits, guests can explore their villages, witness traditional dances, and connect with this richly traditional community.

Conservation

Naibor Camps actively collaborate with neighbouring Masai communities to support wildlife and environmental conservation while simultaneously offering them a means of livelihood. Our mission is to empower these communities to harness their natural resources sustainably, allowing them to provide for their families and elevate their quality of life. Whenever feasible, Naibor Camps prioritises hiring staff from these local communities. Moreover, the community receives a direct contribution for every guest staying with us, channelled into local social development initiatives.
